Why it exists
Some days you want to keep forever. The beach. The ticket from the gig. The song you played all summer.
A notebook can be found, and most diary apps want an account first. No thanks. Scrapwell lives on your phone, locked and encrypted, and sends nothing to us.
Pick a vibe
Every journal gets its own look, with twelve kinds of paper. Change it when your mood changes, then flip through it like a real book.

Keep the real stuff
Take a photo of it and it's on the page. Cut your friend or your dog straight out of a photo and keep the cut-out for next time. 300+ stickers, 30 washi tapes. Tape it down. Done.

Pin the moment
Record a voice note onto the page and hear it later. Add the song you had on repeat as a card with a thirty-second preview. Tuck a voice note, song or link onto a photo, where a little thought bubble keeps it.

Write how you want
Pens and crayons, and handwriting that turns into text when you want it to. Your words show big above the keyboard while you type. Apple Pencil works on iPad.

Scrappy
Scrappy notices when you add a sticker or finish a page, says something about it, and sometimes has a tip. It never reads a word you write. Hide it in Settings whenever you like.

Locked
Everything is encrypted on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. Backups go only to your own iCloud, encrypted first, so nobody else can read them. Not even us. Brothers and sisters on the same iPad each get their own lock, so nobody opens anybody's.

Younger writers
Pick your age when you set up and Scrapwell changes how it looks and talks: bigger buttons, page ideas and a picture code if you're younger, the full studio when you're older. Under 13, a grown-up check comes first for purchases, song search and web links.

Questions
Only if you give them your code, or if a grown-up uses the recovery card or a master password to reset it. Scrapwell tells you when a master password was used. There's no account and no website version anyone can log into.
When you set up, Scrapwell made a recovery card. Whoever you gave it to can get you back in, and then you pick a new code.
No. Your pages never need the internet. Only song search, link previews and place names go online, and they never send anything from your journal.
No. Stay free forever, or get Plus once for $19.99. If you never pay, everything you made stays yours.
Yes. Hold an iPad sideways and the page turns with it, and Apple Pencil works for drawing and handwriting.
