Privacy policy

The short version
Turi has no account, no sign-in and no server. There are no ads, no tracking, and no analytics or crash reporting SDKs. Your practices, sessions and profile stay on your iPhone and Apple Watch, and your Health data never leaves your device. Nothing is sent to Zephy Studio.
What stays on your device
Your practices, your session records (how each step went: finished, shortened or skipped), your notes, and the profile answers from setup: name, age, gender, things to take care with, experience and goals. Every setup question is optional, and you can edit or remove your answers in Settings.
Apple Health (only if you allow it)
Turi writes your sessions to Apple Health as mindful minutes. It reads mindful minutes from other apps, your heart rate during sessions, your resting heart rate, and your date of birth and sex to fill in your profile.
Health data is never sent anywhere and never used for advertising. You can change what Turi may read or write at any time in the Health app, or in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health on your iPhone.
Your Apple Watch
Your practices and the session controls pass between your own iPhone and your own Watch. They don't go through us.
Sharing a practice
You can share a practice as a .turi file, and only when you choose to share it. Where it goes is up to you.
Importing a routine (coming soon)
What you import is yours: Turi never shares or uploads it. Scans, PDFs and photos you choose are read on your device. If you share a link, your device fetches that page directly from the website, once, to read its text. Nothing goes to Zephy Studio.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics or crash reporting SDKs, no tracking, and no selling or sharing of data. We don't build a profile of you.
Children
Turi is not directed at children under 13.
Your control
Deleting Turi removes everything it stored on that device. Your Apple Watch keeps its own copy of your practices and sessions until you delete Turi from the Watch too. Mindful minutes Turi wrote to Apple Health stay in Health until you delete them there. Your device's own backup (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) may include Turi's data, as it does for most apps.
