How it works

Every scroll starts with a quest.

1

They open YouTube

Cappy the capybara steps in first: “Quest ready.” Apple's Screen Time keeps the app closed until the quest is done.

2

They play a quest

Three minutes of maths, English, science or logic, played as a real game. Wrong answers get a hint and another go.

3

They earn the unlock

The apps you chose open for the minutes they earned, up to your daily limit. Bedtime still means bedtime.

Meet the crew

Five animals. Four worlds.

Each subject has its own character and its own game. Your child picks one as their buddy and dresses it up with coins they earn by trying.

Built on a growth mindset

The reward is for the effort.

  • Effort earns XP, not just right answers: coming back after a “not yet” and choosing a harder question both pay.
  • Mistakes are “not yet”, followed by a hint and a retry. Nothing is ever taken away.
  • Praise goes to strategy (“you found 10% first”), never to being clever.
  • Questions adapt so most land in the stretch zone: hard enough to feel earned, easy enough to stay fun.
  • Two right answers in a row and Wildwit offers a harder one. Taking it is optional, and worth more.

For parents

You set the rules once.

  • Choose which apps, categories and websites need a quest, using Apple's own app picker.
  • Set a daily limit, minutes earned per quest, quest length and quiet hours.
  • Grant extra time on the spot with your parent passcode.
  • See the week at a glance: quests finished, learning time, progress by subject and how much effort went in.
  • With Family Sharing, your child can't remove Wildwit or switch it off without you.

Private by design

Your child's data stays on their device.

  • Answers, progress, skill levels, app usage, your child's nickname and age band stay on the device.
  • No account, no servers of ours, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
  • Friends and leaderboards are off unless you switch them on. They use Apple's Game Center and share only a nickname and scores.
  • Built on Apple's Screen Time framework, which never shows us which apps your child uses.
